Screw type oil filter change, mine is a Toyota Starlet, but the same process should apply for any other make with the same type of filter, I guess. Just remember these few things: Look for the EFI (fuel injection) fuse. Once removed, turn the engine on and it will stall (no fuel) Remove the air cleaner or any other cables as necessary Try not to drop the crush washers once you remove the top bolt Keep towels or a small container handy to avoid dropping fuel in the engine bay Do not overtighten the new filter once you put it back on Once the new filter is in, turn the ignition on a couple of times to build fuel pressure, but without turning the engine on SPECIAL TIP: check your NEW fuel filter was not open (returned to the shop). I bought one like that and it was leaking, so I had to return it and get one that was actually SEALED. Guess what, this time it did not leak.
