Burst pipes in Bellevue caused damage and displacement for residents who are just hoping things can get back to normal. As of Tuesday, Bellevue West management confirmed to FOX 17 News water was still shut off for some units more than two weeks after the storm as licensed plumbers work to repair water leaks and look for hidden damage. Some residents tell FOX17 News they were able to break their lease and move, but not everyone has a place to go. “Any considerations related to temporary relocation, lease requests, or rent are being reviewed on a case-by-case basis and handled directly with affected residents, rather than through public statements," apartment management tells FOX 17 News’ Johnny Maffei. "Our priority remains restoring essential services while ensuring repairs are completed correctly and safely." FOX 17 News brought you exclusive interviews and icy inside looks at the damage as the weather slightly warmed back up at Bellevue West, causing pipes to burst.
