Hey my aspiring grocery friends. I wanted to show you how much money goes in to running a business like this and well why it needs so much capital. Not to discourage anyone but to give you a realistic picture of what you can expect when you open a retail store. I can attest that you have to start at the bottom with anything you attempt to start. Even when getting a job it is very rare that you start at the top and not as entry level employee. Similar to many small businesses it takes years to turn a profit because of the initial expenses and your constant overhead. On top of that you will be constantly trying to improve your retail store so you will constantly use capital on that.
