[4K] Every ride in the World of David Walliams at Alton Towers, join us on all of the rides in this new area based on the David Walliams Gangsta Granny book. The World of David Walliams opened on 17th May 2021 and is aimed at younger children and fans of the Gangsta Granny book. Attractions include the brand new Gangsta Granny: The Ride, Raj's Bouncy Bottom Burp (previously Frog Hopper) and Royal Carousel (previously Galloper's Carousel) as well as Flavio’s Fabulous Fandango. There is an attraction further down known as Cuckoo Cars Driving School which although is located next the Gangsta Granny ride and is accessible from the World of David Walliams, it is in The Towers area. The area has had various names over the years including Cloud Cuckoo Land, Cred Street and The Land of Make Believe. The area was first built as Talbot Street in 1981, becoming the park's first themed area, home to the Around The World in 80 Days and Doom & Sons dark rides.
