On behalf of UNESCO and under the International Year of Quantum global event series, ITAS took over the responsibility of organizing The Ethical, Legal, and Social Aspects (ELSA) of Broadening Global Ownership of Quantum Technologies events. As part of those events, ITAS organized five online regional workshops with experts and grassroots activists around the globe. The regional workshop for Asia was held on 23 October 2025 as part of a workshop series leading to the onsite event held on 20-21st November 2025 in İstanbul.
