🏰Lulworth Castle | Virtual Tour Today it's a rather grand hunting lodge, Lulworth Castle, which was gutted by a fire in the 1920's. You can still see the fire damage to iron doors and beams. The Lulworth Estate has the first post-reformation Catholic Chapel to be built in the country, with the permission of George III. Philippa films from the rooftop and right down in the basement, where you can actually glimpse areas almost as they were pre-fire. This is the 12th virtual tour in the virtual tour series. They have been a mix of exploring current resources available through some of the museums or sites own fantastic websites, and footage I have filmed previously.
