How to Make a Dress Easy | Sewing Projects for Beginners | How to Sew a Dress

Learn how to make a dress step by step in today's sewing project for beginners! This is the easiest dress tutorial I've ever made - you don't need a sewing pattern, fancy measurements, elastic, or even a zipper, and since it's sewn with stretchy fabric it's very easy to perfect the fit! This is a great sewing tutorial for beginners or anyone looking for a quick and easy dress sewing tutorial - you only have to sew 4 seams and 4 hems and I'll show you exactly how! This dress is an A-line shape which has a slightly similar look to a skater dress, although the skirt isn't as full... plus it's even easier to make than a skater dress! I paired mine with a belt, rings, bracelets, tights, and boots and loved the way it turned out. I think it’d be a great place to start if you’re just learning to make clothes or if you want to start sewing with stretch knit fabric and you want an easy project. ***** SUPPLIES NEEDED: About 2.5 yards of a stretch knit fabric (it's important that it stretches since we're not using a zipper). Please not that you may wind up using less fabric if your fabric is not a striped pattern like mine, but I do recommend this larger amount to be safe. I only had 2 yards for mine although it would've been a lot easier to make if I had a little more!
