Various of demo in front of embassy including flags of the US, Iran and Israel STORYLINE: Members of Romania's Iranian community held a demonstration, Sunday, against the Islamic regime in Tehran which is believed to have killed thousands of pro democracy protesters. The Romanian demonstrators waved flags and placards at Victoria square, in Central Bucharest, demanding an end to the violence in Iran. They held posters of Iran's exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi and waved Iranian, US and Israeli flags and called for these nations to help the protesters in Iran. Javid Tayebiderazkola told AP that he came to the demonstration ‘’to be a voice for the people who were told to speak no more.’’ The U.S.-based Human Rights Activists New Agency, which relies on a network inside Iran to verify its information, reports that over 49,500 people have been detained in the crackdown. It says the violence killed at least 6,713 people, the vast majority of them demonstrators.
