I replaced my old pull-chain ceiling fan with the Artika Sunnyvale LED Ceiling Fan from Costco, and this one is very different from any fan I’ve installed before. This fan cost $129 at Costco and features a modern ring-style LED light, remote control operation, adjustable light color and brightness, reversible airflow, and multiple fan speeds. In this video, I walk through the unboxing, assembly, installation, and my honest thoughts after installing and using it. Assembly was more involved than expected — more parts than any fan I’ve installed — but the instructions were clear if you take your time. The remote control gives you full control over fan speed, airflow direction, light brightness, color temperature (warm to cool), and a built-in timer. The downside is that if the remote is lost, there’s no backup control — something to consider long-term. Once installed, the fan produces more light and airflow than my old fan. The 360-degree LED ring fills the room evenly, even at lower brightness settings. The modern design does change the feel of the room — brighter light also reveals how “lived-in” a space really is. My biggest long-term concern is LED longevity. With no replaceable bulbs, a failed light means replacing the fixture — which seems to be the direction most modern lighting is going. Overall, this fan feels lightweight, powerful, modern, and well-priced, especially for a Costco purchase. ▶️ Video length: 13:38 🛒 Purchased at Costco 💬 Let me know if you’d choose this style or stick with a traditional fan.
