I'm actually using a pattern from an old grain shovel I found. I use mostly traditional methods to carve out the bowl and handle. I used my bandsaw to rough out the shape and ended up suing my router to cutout the hole for the handle. I tried to use my coping saw here but the material was too thick and it broke.
