El Macho: "Buenos días, my friends! I am Eduardo Perez. Owner of Salsa & Salsa restaurant across the mall. Now, open for breakfast. And you are?" So the 4th Despicable Me movie released a few days ago, I'll probably watch it tomorrow, so to celecrite it I decided to make a tribute to my favorite villain from the franchise, the mexican mastermind, El Macho. There are a couple reasons he's my favorite: he's the only twist villain in the franchise, with the film constantly going back and fourth telling you "it's him" and "no wait, he's not", so his actual reveal feeling organic. He was also already a well respected and fearsome villain within the films' universe and he really felt like a supervillain. He stole a whole lab, kidnapped Gru's Minions without him noticing and mutated them, he knows to make a plan and hide it from everyone. He was also the most dangerous villain in terms of scale, with the others having small goals he planned to unleash the mutated Minions onto multiple cities to destroy them. Even outside his villainy he's great, he's a friendly resturant owner that likes to cheer others and is fun to be around with, he also cares about his son and his pet chicken. A retired villain who faked his death, disappeared and planned to make a giant return, Sounds familiar here, doesn't it? El Macho is honestly a pretty good villain. I know some prefer Vector, but you have to admit El Macho is great as well. Despicable Me 2 is my favorite movie from the franchise, I won't explain it to you because I don't want to waste y'all's time with it. This video was easy to make. The scenes fit, the song fit, yeah it wasn't difficult. Honestly, July's videos weren't hard. August's on the other hand... I won't spoil it to you. I don't know if I'll do tributes to other DM villains, I probably won't but I'll still keep an open mind for that. Next video is gonna be a singing toilet, because I can. And a small video before that. song: "No Limits" by Royal Deluxe. scenes: Despicable Me 2 (2014). character: Eduardo Perez/El Macho. I do not own the song and clips.
