YVC Choir: "HOME" Spring 2021

The Yakima Valley College Choir presents "HOME" by American Idol's Phillip Phillips, arranged by Alan Billingsley. Directed and produced by Steven S. Slusher during the Spring 2021 quarter, this video was created to provide an opportunity for music students to engage and create in a virtual learning environment with individual recording sessions and green screen recording to meet public safety requirements. Slusher said: “YVC's Music Department is always striving to provide musical opportunities for our students. Even during a pandemic, we were able to explore the many career opportunities in the music industry. Studio work and commercial work is a viable career path, and it was neat for all involved to experience this process. All music instructors have worked hard to continue the excellence and the comfort of HOME that we've created here at YVC."
