Germany Vlog 2 | palaces, parks and kites!

I can't believe I've already been in Germany for almost a month now! A few weeks ago, I visited Charlottenburg Palace in Berlin, the outside of Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam, and Babelsberg Palace in Potsdam. I also visited the East Side Gallery attended the 2025 Kite Festival in Berlin! The festival was at Tempelhof Field, one of my favorite places in Berlin so far. Over 100,000 people came to the festival throughout the day! Last week, I attended Fulbright Germany orientation in Berlin for a few days. It was a great experience! I had a Dahlem/Freie Universität Berlin walking tour where we saw where various Nobel Peace Prize winners worked, including Albert Einstein. I also got to meet other Fulbrighters and learn from past Fulbrighters. This week, I started research work at GFZ Helmholtz Centre for Geosciences. I'm looking forward to learning a lot there as I work on my project! Now it's time for me to relax during this long weekend and celebrate German Unity Day, a national holiday!
