Sponge Cake Recipe Cake Flour 135 g Cacao Powder 50 g Baking powder 5 g Eggs 250 g (5 eggs) Sugar 205 g Vegetable oil 85 g Milk 105 g Vanila extract 8 g • Set the oven to 170 Celsius degrees and prepare a 8 inc baking mold. • Shift the dry ingredients together and mix. • Mix the eggs and sugar then whip the eggs to foamy stage. • Add the dry ingredients into whipped eggs gradually and fold it nicely. • Lastly add all vegetable oil, milk and vanila extract and fold the cake batter. • Pour it into baking mold and bake it the preheated oven for 60 minutes. • After bake cool it down on the cooling rack up side down so your cake won’t be dense. Chocolate Ganache 300 g heavy cream 100 g Sugar 100 g Corn syrup 300 g Dark chocolate 100 g Butter • Put heavy cream, sugar and corn syrup in a cooking pot and boil it. • Then pour it on dark chocolate and mix it well. • Lastly add butter and mix it. Blend it if it needs. Syrup 100 g Sugar 150 g Water • Boil water and sugar in a cooking pot and cool it down before use. Assembly • Slice the Sponge cake in three layers. • Syrup the sponge cake with a brush. • Spread the chocolate ganache and put another cake layer. • do it three layer and finish. • Mask the 3 layer cake with chocolate ganache and decorate it how ever you like.
