This passionate piece is Bo young's 5th composition for her 'Ocean' series piano solo works. 'Ocean of Memories' was inspired by her move from Hong Kong (where she lived for 19 years) to Sydney. Hong Kong was a city where her career as a composer was birthed. She holds many deep memories from her time in Hong Kong. Her sadness, fondness and nostalgic feelings can be felt throughout the piece. Fans familiar with her previous Ocean series may notice fragments of the past Ocean pieces in this one to represent her memories of her writing the Ocean pieces in Hong Kong. Bo young hopes this piece will bring back your own unforgettable, meaningful, fond memories as you play this piece.
