This is a short surgical video, that in fact shows very little of the surgery itself, but just key moments of the surgery, where Mr Richards stops to explain what is happening on the camera. The video begins with the segment of ear already removed, and Mr Richards explains the patient stretched the ear to about an inch. The technique used will leave the usual "T" shaped scar. The area removed is held up and shown to the camera before the ear is pulled together to show how it will look once the operation is completed. We then skip to the end of the procedure, with the ear fully stitched up and have a few questions answered regarding the procedure by the patient.
