While Reyes may not have been at this absolute top speed, he was the reigning Derby City Classic Master of the Table and he would win the World 9-Ball Championship one month after this event. Bustamante was the 1998 World Pool Masters Champion and 1998 Player of the Year . He had won this title the year prior to this event.
