Riga, Latvia: 5 Best Things to See and Do, Senior Solo Travel

On a solo trip to Riga Latvia, I toured around the city for two days. I loved Riga! It is a beautiful city with a gorgeous park and canal running through the center, as well as stunning architecture spread throughout the city. There are more art nouveau buildings in Riga than there are anywhere else in the world, so with the cobblestone streets, the city is just beautiful. Here are my five favorite things to see and do: 1,. Freedom Square and Bastejkalna Park 2. Town Hall Square and House of Black Head 3. St Peter's Church 4. Art Nouveau District 5. Canal Boat Ride I also visited the Central Market, which I would only recommend if you want to shop for food or souvenirs. For senior and solo travelers, the city is a delight and most of the main attractions are within walking distance. The cobblestone streets can be a little tricky when pulling luggage, but otherwise, the city is a great walking city.
