Hidden Stories of Private Historic Houses: "Floralia Brussels" at The Grand Bigard Castle

For the first week of this year's edition of our European Heritage Weeks project, we visited the Grand Bigard Castle and its annual Floralia festival, a perfect setting to welcome the wonderful spring and its beautiful tulips! With this new project, entitled "Hidden Stories of Private Historic Houses", we intend to offer our audience more than a basic guided tour. We want to spotlight the passion, talent, courage and hard work of our owners, and to show what makes their home a truly special place. The Floralia festival has become an important cultural event in Brussels and it is an opportunity for people from all around the world to learn about the history and the importance of private historic houses in our common European heritage.
