We took an impromptu trip to the Bahamas in December of 2023. This was before the travel advisory that was released warning tourists from traveling there. We felt very safe, in fact you really never have to leave the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar if you don't want to! They have all of the restaurants, bars, pools, beach, activities that you would ever want all in one place. It is one of the most expensive resorts that we have been to however! I would say the food quality is just average AND you are paying astronomical prices for them. I was impressed that the waterpark was included as part of the $65 a day resort fee.
