The RAF St Athan Voluntary Band - 2019 National Eisteddfod Competition

The RAF St Athan Voluntary Band is one of 7 RAF Voluntary Bands based in the UK, with an eighth being based in Cyprus. On Saturday 3rd August they competed for the 27th time at the National Eisteddfod, held this year in Llanrwst, Conwy, North Wales. Under the direction of the band's Bandmaster, Alan Bourne JP BMus(Wales) FLCM ARCM ADWCMD, they competed in both section 3 and section 2 brass band contests. The band came first in Section 3 and took 2nd place in Section 2. During this video, S4C's and the BBC's edited TV coverage of the band's performances throughout the day in the Maes is shown.
