It's intent is to show at least a small part of emotional abuse and raise a discussion about the topic. Emotional abuse is after all not very commonly talked about even though it is the most common form of abuse, which makes way for its more commonly talked about sister: physical abuse. It is the invisible form of violence, which still leaves deep internal scares. One woman about every 30th day gets killed by their partner (source book Factfullness, Mind Gap), so it's vital that we raise the discussion about this topic. It's also a movie about the chain reaction which often follow abuse, and how to break out of the cycle. The story is based on true events and real people. I hope you'll enjoy it! Invisible Violence: Liv tries in every way to help the emotionally abused Adam, but when she start to lose weight due to Adam's destructive teenage ways and her work as a maid, Liv sees things in a different light & soon it's clear that nothing is what it seems.
