Zach Callison -- the voice of the title character 'Steven Universe' on the show "Steven Universe" -- speaks with rabid fans who gathered to seem him at his 2018 Fan Expo Q&A panel in Toronto about the popular show, his exciting career and his crazy life. "Steven Universe" is an American animated television series created by Rebecca Sugar for Cartoon Network. It is the coming-of-age story of a young boy, 'Steven Universe' (voiced by Zach Callison) who lives with the Crystal Gems—magical humanoid aliens named 'Pearl' (Deedee Magno), 'Garnet' (Estelle), and 'Amethyst' (Michaela Dietz) in the fictional town of Beach City. Steven, who is half-Gem, has adventures with his friends and helps the Gems protect the world from their own kind. Steven Universe premiered on November 4th, 2013, and is Cartoon Network's first animated show solely created by a woman. The themes of the series include love and family. Books, comics and a video game based on the series have also been released, and a film is in development. Zach Callison (born October 23rd, 1997) is an American actor, singer, songwriter and voice actor. Callison is also known for his roles in Disney shows including 'Prince James' from "Sofia the First," 'Billy' from "I'm in the Band" and additional voices from "Kinect Disneyland Adventures." He is also noted for 'King Tut' in "Mr. Peabody & Sherman," 'Young Jiro' in "The Wind Rises," and 'Billy Batson' in the direct-to-video movies "Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam" (2010) and "Justice League: War" (2014).
