New 2017 Beta Xtrainer 300 - first ride. The Good: linear power from low - high RPM. Newb friendly power. Most of the power from off-idle to mid rpm. No high rpm hit. Lots of low-end grunt. And can go walking speed without stalling. Great brakes, front dives quite a bit though. Smoke :) easy to handle and seat is low to the ground Lights/Charging system/horn -- on a dirt bike Close ratio gears Engine map switch - 2 modes (wet, dry). Dry mode the engine has a bit more hit as you roll into it electronic oil injection - with a LONG cheesy hose from the air box (where the pump is). I wouldn't trust this system for the long-run. Good tires and handles well no tools air cleaner removal rear suspension is great Electric start - starts instantly all the time Back-lit gauges - Speed, trip-meter, hour-meter, clock 1 Liter of Motul 2 stroke oil = ~650 Km/400miles
