#ishayogacenter #adiyogi #ishafoundation Namaskaram! 12th of November, 2019 (Kartik Purnima) is the day devi tied us together to set us free. A wedding which is beyond my understanding. Aishwarya & I will always be grateful to everyone present there and to all the volunteers who made this happen for us. Marriage rituals done in the presence of Linga Bhairavi Devi at Isha Foundation is designed by Sadhguru to weave Devi’s Grace into a couple’s life. Apart from the traditional Mangalaya tying and Mala (Garland) exchange, in the Vivaha process, there are 3 main marriage rituals done in the presence of Linga Bhairavi: Vilakku Seva, Daha Nivaranam, and Sarpa Seva. Vilakku Seva: An offering of 111 ghee lamps inside the shrine to appeal to Devi’s Grace. Assisted with a powerful Bhairavi chant, this offering creates harmony, helps avert obstacles, and pacifies the upheavals of the five elements. It symbolizes an inner flame which drives one’s quest for knowledge, wisdom, transformation, and enlightenment. It brings wellbeing to the family. Daha Nivaranam: An offering of consecrated Jala (water) to the sacred Banyan tree inside the Linga Bhairavi shrine, assisted with a powerful chant, quenches any intense desire. It is favorable to fulfill deeply rooted desires. Sarpa Seva: An offering made by two people to the intertwined divine snakes at the Devi shrine. Sarpa seva can be done on the snake carving near the banyan tree with kumkum, or on the snake carving above the sanctum with termite mud. This seva creates a strong bond and understanding between two people, without entanglement. It is also beneficial for women’s health and those having naga dosha. We urge everybody to experience this in this lifetime. This is available for married couples as well. Pranam! ©2021 Deepali Sahay. All rights reserved
