Pet Needs had one helluva year last year as they not only put out their second LP entitled Primetime Entertainment, but they also toured extensively throughout the year with a major opening slot on Frank Turner’s 50 States in 50 Days Tour which is not just huge, but it was one of the most entertaining shows from start to finish I have ever seen. The band has played shows non-stop aside from the lockdown since 2017, and they released their first album Fractured Party Music in 2021 while everything was on pause. Both albums are absolute magic, if you ask me. The last thing to know about this band is that they truly play a great live show and engage with crowds of all sizes like they are playing songs just for you. It’s a hard thing to do, but I imagine years of grinding out local gigs helped create the performances that they put out today.
