Black mental health matters. In this episode we talk about breaking the mould — because our parents did the best they could, but our generation needs therapy, language, and uncomfortable conversations. We unpack how some Black men were hurt when they tried to open up… so they learned to stay silent until it explodes. That cycle isn’t healing us. We have to stand by each other instead of suffering alone. We also talk about our children. How too many Black kids are misunderstood in classrooms, put into boxes, labelled “difficult” or “ADHD” instead of being understood. Not because something is wrong with them — but because the system doesn’t know how to see them. This is why representation matters. In schools. In healthcare. In leadership. In every space. Healing isn’t weakness. Talking isn’t failure. Understanding our kids isn’t extra — it’s necessary. Share with someone who needs this conversation.
