Dhun on Raag Mishra Bhairavi | Subham Kanjilal | Mandolin | Jaswant Singh Jolly

The main composition of this Dhun was composed by Mr. Jaswant Singh Jolly, who was a legendary musician with an unbelievable control over the Mandolin. His playing has inspired many Indians to take up the Mandolin and incorporate the Indian style of playing it, including myself. The extension of it has been composed by my Guru Sri Snehasish Mozumder. It is not less than a heavenly blessing that I could get to play this extension, and I feel extremely lucky and blessed to be under his guidance. Since the composition in itself is quite exacting, I have tried my best to play it with utmost dedication, and I ask your forgiveness for all the mistakes in it. The Tabla has been played by Tuhin Sengupta, his skillful and vibrant playing has added some beautiful moments to the audio, but it is heartbreaking that I could not include him in the video due to some technical issues. The audio has been mixed by Pankaj Pikon Paul, and I cannot thank enough Ritesh Gandhi for his love and support!
