I added some details like cuffs to the sleeves and skirt hem, as well as some belt loops. The front opening can be worn buttoned up all the way for a more modest look, or partially opened, which is my preferred option. This is such a classic look and I’m already having plans to make another one! Pockets are not included but feel free to add some! Recommended Fabrics: Cotton Poplin Cotton Lawn Cotton Broadcloth Cotton Denim Cotton Chambray Linen Note: Since the wrong side of the fabric will be visible, choose your fabric wisely OR use leftover fabrics for a pop of interest! Tip! For an extremely voluminous skirt just like mine, use a fabric with a wide width (I used 60 inch). Then adjust the Skirt pattern so that the entire width of the fabric is used. But be advised that the dress is going to be very heavy, especially if your fabric is thick. For this method, you will need an additional +1 meter to the total fabric required.
