But sometimes when you have do multiple profiles it causes problems like the one I'll explain in this video. Often I'll hear viewers say they redeemed an Xbox Gift Card into the wrong account and they'll want to know if the money can be transferred into a different account. The answer is a definite no! You cannot transfer Xbox Gift Card money from one Xbox account to another. Even if you contact Microsoft and explain your situation they won't do it. When you redeem an Xbox Gift Card, the money goes into the account that is signed in and currently active on the Xbox console. Once you confirm that you want to redeem the code the money is deposited into the active account and cannot be moved. There's no way to transfer money between Xbox accounts. So always be sure to check the profile and email address of the account that is logged into the Xbox when you redeem an Xbox Gift Card.
