What is "Saltafoss"? Saltafoss was the first Italian dual-suspension bicycle produced on a large scale from 1968 to 1985. The project originated from the evolution of a Schwinn Stingray, carried out by Paolo Ceriani, to transform this model into something that resembled a motorcycle in the eyes of children. Saltafoss became a legendary bicycle, cherished and admired throughout Italy, and it significantly contributed to innovation in the world of bicycles. Its pioneering design and advanced suspension system brought about a new era of bicycle technology, inspiring further developments and laying the groundwork for the evolution of modern mountain bikes (MTBs) and other advanced bicycle models. To create a unique product, we have involved some of italian bike manufacturer producing past Saltafoss models and its components. The result? A product transcending time, intimately connected to its history, and projected into the future of electric mobility.
