Building MORE Impactful Infrastructure in Baltimore Highlighting another Maryland project by our engineers, tradespeople, and project teams to improve vital infrastructure. The North Avenue Bridge is a second project for CSX to enable double-stack trains to pass through the Baltimore corridor. Watch how our crews are demolishing and reconstructing two of the seven arches and the bridge above—all while traffic continues on half of the bridge. Our teams are also working over and beside active Amtrak and MTA transit lines and relocating multiple utilities, requiring close coordination and partnership with all stakeholders.
