On a warm March afternoon in Eastern Washington, I visited two quiet places with my Rav Vast: the ghost town of Elberton, and the Garfield Cemetery. In Elberton, I played outside the abandoned church, where I imagined bells once rang from the steeple. Though the tower is silent now, I offered my instrument in their place—letting the handpan carry the spirit of those long-faded chimes once more. The birds nearby called freely from the grasses and trees, undisturbed by the music. My faithful canine friend, Ghost, kept quiet watch as sound and birdsong wove together in the stillness. The video closes with a reflective piece at the Garfield Cemetery, seated beside my father, with McCroskey State Park resting on the distant horizon. May this music honor the past, bring peace to the present, and bless all who hear it. 🎧 Instrument: @RAVVastSteelTongueDrum G Pygmy 6:18 💬 Final Haiku: No more hymns inside Birdsong swells past shuttered panes The choir has wings now 6:37 Garfield Cemetery Thank you for listening.
