Crossing 260+ Miles of Open Ocean... In a 23' Boat

Our second 23 Albury Brothers Boat is finally done and so it is time to get it back over to Treasure Cay in The Abacos, The Bahamas. I live in Melbourne, Florida to that is where I started the day. I took the Indian River Lagoon / Intracoastal Waterway all the way down to Stuart from there. Before heading offshore I topped off my fuel at Sailfish Marina in Stuart. After fueling up I headed east out the St. Lucie Inlet, Bahamas bound! The ocean and Gulf Stream were like a sheet of glass so I made great timing in my Albury 23 and Yamaha f300 engine. Once I got closer to Treasure Cay I encountered a little bit of rain, but really nothing bad at all. All-in-all it was a really good crossing!
