SAMARKAND: Shah-i-Zinda + Silk Factory + Eternal City 🇺🇿 UZBEKISTAN Day 3 Vlog

On day 3 of my Uzbekistan trip, we started by visiting Bibi Khanym Mosque. Parts of it in ruins but a lot of it was rebuilt. It has the beautiful blue ceiling top of many of the other buildings around Samarkand. The intricate details really have me in awe even to this day. From here we went to the Shah-i-Zinda complex that has mosques and is considered a holy site that people do pilgrimages to this place. The details, the colors, the designs are just breathtaking. In the afternoon we headed to a silk factory where we saw how they make silk carpets and I even got to try making a bit of one myself! Our lat stop was the eternal city which felt like a small version of Samarkand with beautiful buildings and details and then we made our own silk scarf. For dinner we went to a Georgian restaurant and I even ended up on someone’s Instagram Live! Watch it all in the vlog.
