This episode is all about Mark Visentin, a former first round draft pick who twice played for Team Canada at the World Junior Championships. With a promising career cut short due to injury, learn about his rise and fall through the pro ranks, leading up to his retirement at the age of 26, then see the exciting game worn piece of history of his that we have at our museum that immortalizes his pro hockey journey! The purpose of this video series is to focus on a new NHL goalie each episode by telling a biographical, educational, and hopefully entertaining story about their career (with a focus on the goalie's NHL escapades), and then relate it to a game worn "Piece of History" of the athlete that we have preserved in our goaltending museum. The purpose of the series is not to focus on various players' off-ice demons, nor to judge any players for any actions that they may have taken during their careers or beyond.
