'COAL TRAIN DAY' On The 'COLLIERY LINE' (Nobody Does It Better):

Yes, another long & totally entertaining day at Chasewater which has lead to yet another long video which I hope is equally enjoyable. With four loco's rotating between the passenger timetable and the MGR ('Merry Go Round') & Mineral/coal trains there was rarely a quite moment and between runs there was plenty of shunting to keep the visitors interested at Brownhills West Station while enjoying the tasty fayre in the Sidings Tea Room. (well worth a visit even when trains are not running). It was good to see that this event attracted far more photo/videographers than usual and it was nice to catch up with a few friendly faces, I just hope that my wandering along the track in compulsory hivis (fully authorised) didn't detract from anyones shots. A bit of sunshine would have been welcome but at least the infrequent light drizzle didn't spoil this action packed day of 'loose coupled' memories....... (for some of us anyway)!! Once again, all credit to the Chasewater 'Guys & Girls' for their hard work not only on the day but the prior preparation (it's not magic)...... Well done all!!
