Anchor Mary Nam to leave KOMO News at end of month after 23 years

After more than two decades on Seattle television, KOMO news anchor Mary Nam has announced her departure at the end of the month. Mary shared with the newsroom this morning that the difficult decision to leave was several years in the making, and that after 23 years at KOMO television, this was the right time to pursue a new path. “2026 is the right time for me to take the leap,” she shared in an email to colleagues. “Beyond that, I'm not sure what is next, but given how long it's taken me to tiptoe to this ledge, falling into the next chapter will be the easy part.
