I'm Antasurris, the guy behind this project. As a fan of the Grand Theft Auto license since GTA San Andreas, rediscovering Los Santos in 2013 was a real pleasure. But there was something missing, or rather somewhere: Las Venturas and Bone County were my favorite places, and I’m forever saddened by their absence in GTA V. It's not for lack of potential though: Las Vegas is already a caricature in itself. The « Sin City » is an ideal playground for the license. Add to that the mythical landscapes of Nevada, Utah and Arizona that form Bone County and you have a perfect map! It was out of frustration that, one night with friends, we started this project: we had to create this new region by ourselves and offer the GTA community a new playground through the most ambitious GTA mod ever made. WHY MAKE A PATREON? As you can imagine, creating a new map takes a lot of time and effort. Designing a believable environment, modeling it, filling it and understanding how the game works took us several months, but here we are with the current rendering and a nice base for future updates. In order to continue the development of this project, our team needs to devote full time to it, that's where you come in! By subscribing you support the project and allow it to go on until the end, your comments are also very appreciated! F.A.Q What is in the current version of the mod? (August 2022) The current mod includes a 3km² tile that includes part of El Castillo del Diablo, Heatstroke Highway, Historic Route 69 and several adjacent roads as well as our hotel The Melasuda. What will be the final map size? As currently planned (and this will necessarily evolve as the project progresses), the map will cover an area of 70km², almost as much as the original map of GTA V. When will the city of Las Venturas be available? A first version "model" will be proposed to the "Gold Supporter" in December 2022, it will allow to illustrate its surface, the road network, the position of the most emblematic buildings of the city and the various districts, we will then work during the year 2023 to its progressive realization! Will the mod be free when finished? Yes! As soon as we deem the map complete enough, the mod will be available for free to the whole community. Thanks for reading this far Kifflom!
