🇬🇧 Dear Burghies, On the 2nd of November, we joined the Fairy Puck's Glen and Argyll Forest Day Trip organised by the ESNE (Erasmus Student Network Edinburgh) through the IST (International Student Trips). Our first stop was at Tarbet Pier, where we simply took the beautiful view in. We then reached our main destination, Argyll Forest. At first, nothing seemed particular about it, but once in, it felt like we just stepped into another world. The landscapes were absolutely breathtakingly magical, and I would do it again anytime. We finished the day off at Dunoon, where we fancied a hot chocolate and got a view over the whole town. Once back in Edinburgh, we had a warm and comforting dinner at Sichuan House, where I had the best duck fried rice. See you next week for a very exciting video! With all my love, Isaure xx PS: our ranking of the trips is the following 1. Outlander and 3 castles 2. Harry Potter Bridge 3. Loch Ness / Argyll Forest 4. Harry Potter Castle / Dunnottar 5. Isle of Skye (would rank higher if it weren't for storm Ashley...) PS2: we were supposed to go on the Dunnottar trip on the 16th Nov but it got cancelled due to a coach issue... fortunately, I got a refund for my ticket :) 🇨🇵 Chers Burghies, Le 2 novembre, nous avons participé à l'excursion d'une journée à Fairy Puck's Glen et à la forêt d'Argyll organisée par l'ESNE (Erasmus Student Network Edinburgh) par l'intermédiaire de l'IST (International Student Trips). Notre premier stop a été à Tarbet Pier, où nous avons simplement profité de la belle vue. Nous avons ensuite atteint notre destination principale, la forêt d'Argyll. Au début, rien ne semblait particulier, mais une fois à l'intérieur, nous avons eu l'impression d'entrer dans un autre monde. Les paysages étaient absolument magiques à couper le souffle, et je le referais n'importe quand. Nous avons terminé la journée à Dunoon, où nous avons eu envie d'un chocolat chaud et d'une vue sur toute la ville. De retour à Édimbourg, nous avons eu un dîner chaleureux et réconfortant à Sichuan House, où j'ai mangé le meilleur riz frit au canard. À la semaine prochaine pour une vidéo très excitante !
