Wifey and I roamed Kyoto! Kyoto is also known as the cultural capital of Japan! It is rich in history, castles, and temples. Before Tokyo, Kyoto was the capital of Japan🗾 or as the Japanese 🎌 would call it, the "Thousand-year" capital! This time, we went to Kinkaku-ji, or the golden pavillon. It is considered as a national treasure of Japan, and is also a UNESCO world heritage site! There is an entrance fee, but it's worth it! Then wifey and I went to Kiyomizu-dera temple, which is a good place to view the autumn🍂 leaves! Lastly, we went to Nishiki market and ate some Japanese treats! Kyoto is a beautiful and historic place. However, be prepared to walk, since bus is the preferred mode of transportation here.
