Women law enforcement officers march to the union buildings

The Gauteng Provincial Government, in partnership with the city of Tshwane, has hosted a special event where more than 1,200 women law enforcement officers from various municipalities in the province marched to the union buildings. The 2.2km march under the theme "Building resilient economies for all" kick-started with the re-enactment of the iconic 1956 women's March. In celebration of this day, Premier Panyaza Lesufi alongside City of tshwane Mayor and the MMC of Education were in attendance. Our reporter Sitheliswa Beja filed this report.
