When officers approached the vehicle, they couldn’t see inside because of dark tinted windows — and the driver refused to exit despite repeated commands. After more than ten minutes of noncompliance, deputies broke a window to reach two young children — a 3-year-old and a 3-month-old — in the backseat. Authorities say they found two empty vodka bottles and that the driver’s blood alcohol level was three times over the legal limit.
