Hi friends, ep 2 of the China vlogs is here! We went to Zhangjiajie in Hunan for a short trip to visit the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (湖南张家界国家森林公园) and Tianmen Mountain (天门山). It was a packed 72 hours with amazing views. I've left some additional info below, in case you're planning a trip there as well. Please like and subscribe to my channel if you enjoyed my video. Your support means a lot and really helps small channels like mine grow. Thanks for being a part of the journey. ♡ Notes: We flew to Zhangjiajie from Shanghai with China Eastern. There’s 1 flight a day I believe, arriving in ZJJ at 21:40 and departing ZJJ at 22:25. We stayed in the Hampton by Hilton Zhangjaijie National Forest Park, which is in Wulingyuan town and walking distance from the Wulingyuan entrance (East gate) for the first 2 nights. The final night we stayed in the Hampton by Hilton Zhangjiajie Tianmen Shan, which is right across the Tianmen Shan cable car. The hotel helped us to arrange our tickets to the park after we checked in. You need your passport for your tickets as everything is linked to it and facial recognition is used within the park for entry into lifts and cablecars. We bought tickets that included unlimited entry to all the cable cars and lifts (except for the Ten Miles Gallery Scenic Train), as we calculated that based on our plans we’d otherwise end up paying for additional individual tickets for these and would cost us more. There are many toilets (mostly squatting), but do bring your own toilet paper. There are many food stalls in the park, but based on tips from friends we brought our own food (buns, snacks etc. to eat while in the park). There are monkeys in the park, especially around Huangshizhai and Golden Whip Stream (there are some around Yuanjiajie as well, but we didn’t see as many). The monkeys are quite aggressive and will grab plastic bags and your food. I’m quite scared of monkeys and didn’t dare to take out my phone/camera while they were around, which also explains why I have limited footage of day 2. 72 hour itinerary: arrived in ZJJ at 21:40 (took a taxi to the hotel in Wulingyuan) Day 1 - Tianzi Shan, Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, Bailong Elevator Day 2 - Huangshizhai and Golden Whip Stream (after dinner in Wulingyuan we took a taxi to our second hotel in Zhangjiajie) Day 3 - in the morning took the bus up to Tianmenshan, walked up the 999 steps (it’s less, we counted lol) to Tianmen Cave, took the escalator up to the sky garden and did the East Walk followed by the the West Walk (where we also did the West Glass Skywalk, we skipped the East Glass Skywalk, because apparently the West is nicer apparently). Around 16:30 took the cable car down. After dinner we took a taxi back to the airport and flew back to Shanghai at 22:25. restaurants featured: ▪️湘健土菜馆·农家菜 - 武陵源区未央路顺景酒店旁边10米 ▪️印象老灶台三下锅·湘西本土原味菜(标志门驼 峰路店) - 张家界武陵源区军部路与驼峰路交口东南10米路 ▪️寨嫂当家 (天门山希尔顿欢朋店) - 永定区大庸路希尔顿欢朋酒店与富蓝特和酒店中间 / noramauslii Music ♫ Music by ROM COM - Call You Mine - https://thmatc.co/?l=74BB3838 Music by Boyu - Central Park - https://thmatc.co/?l=1CED16A3 Music by Gordon Crumb - Kiss Me Better - https://thmatc.co/?l=D79E6E8B Music by Irene Wong - Butterflies - https://thmatc.co/?l=9E2E1D7F
