Garage FIND!! Triumph Herald Convertible, 1500cc Engine Twin Carburettors, Overdrive Gear box,Front Disc Brakes with Servo, This car has been stored in a garage since 1996, almost 20 years, I have recomissioned it, went over the brakes & Clutch, New Fanbelt Plugs points etc, fitted battery, New Fuel line Front to rear, Repaired Fuel Gauge (Now working fine) Thermostat & Antifreeze, It passed MOT with 2 advises, Slight corrosion on front brake pipes, The car is very solid underneath & required NO WELDING for MOT (See Pictures of underside). it has Mot to June 2016, The paint work is not brilliant,(see Pictures) it had some rust marks when I dug it out of the garage, I have polished it with a Hand Buffer & it has removed the Brown rust, But there are still scabs / Chips, It would benefit greatly from a repaint & would then be an exceptional example, but my roll ends here, it is offered for sale as a Running Restoration project, it needs only cosmetic work as far as I can see, the overdrive gear box is a great addition, but if you change to 3rd quickly it catches on the syncro, But if you are a proper driver & Double your clutch (as I Do) it is good & dose not catch. The Hood is good with No rips, there is a cut in the drivers seat, but looks an easy repair
