Spyder MR5 Mag Fed Paintball Marker

Here is a long over due video of the Spyder MR5 I've been meaning to do. Unfortunately, as I write this...we aren't sure what Empire is going to do with these now that they have acquired Spyder. The key to note on these in comparison to the MRX line is that these are first strike capable/ready right out of the box where the MRX are not. So first strike shaped mags and breach. Otherwise, very similar if not the same. To my knowledge and from our friends at Kingman the MRX was not able to be converted to fire first strike unfortunately. Anyway, if we know that Empire will support these and plans new versions going forward then I'm all in favor of continuing to recommend these for first timers unsure of whether mag fed is for them and that don't want to plonk down a pile of cash for something they are unsure about. I got a couple of these to loan out during some of the mag fed games that we put on so that people could not only try out the guns but also see if they liked mag fed period. They feel very durable and my only real complaint is magazine capacity and magazine cost compared to other platforms. I mean what good is it to save $100 when you are going to spend that in mags and then not have as good of a marker as one that costs about $100 more? My two cents...like I always say your mileage and opinion will vary and opinions are like butts...everyone has one lol.
