Her reputation on the international stage saw her invited to demonstrate at the 100 Years of Pastelling in China celebrations - one of only 6 international guest artists to be so honoured. An ever increasing number of invitations to judge competitions (including her role as Judge of Awards in the upcoming International Association of Pastel Societies Exhibition) is testament to her skills and reputation. Her paintings cover a myriad of subject matter, including portraits, seascapes, still life and florals, all of which consistently receive accolades and awards across the globe. The pursuit of masterly quality and technique is a high priority for Lyn, whose work is imbued with a lifetime of practise and is a celebration of her faith and of life. Lyn’s ability to communicate her ideas has entrenched her as a respected and sought-after tutor, with teaching engagements internationally and across Australia. During COVID, she has been able to adapt her teaching to utilise Zoom, successfully bringing the world into her studio. Lyn was accepted into the International Guild of Realism in 2008, and holds Master Pastellist status with the Pastel Society of Australia. In 2019 Lyn was awarded Eminent Pastellist status - the highest award within the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS). She had already achieved Master Circle status with that group in 2014. Lyn was accepted into the Pastel Society of America as a Signature Member in 2016.
