Do or Die is an American rap trio originally from Chicago, Illinois. The group experienced mainstream success with the single "Po Pimp", which featured fellow Chicago rapper, Twista, off the album Picture This, that peaked at #22 on the Billboard Hot 100. Group members are Belo Zero, N.A.R.D. and AK-47. The trio has sold more than 3 million albums. Alongside Crucial Conflict, another Chicago group with a similar vocal and lyrical style, they helped launch the city's first national hip hop movement. Do or Die gained a hit with their first single, "Po Pimp". Released on a tiny Chicago label, the track became a local hit and sparked the group's signing by Houston's Rap-A-Lot Records. Given a wide release in the summer of 1996, the single hit number 22, increasing the buzz for a full-length from the group. In September of that year, Picture This was released on Rap-A-Lot. The album was certified Gold, and launched the group, as well as fellow Chicago rapper Twista, who was featured on the track, into superstardom. This concert was in Indianapolis Indiana at the Pan Am Plaza, the show was sold out and the performance was Phenominal, Twista brought out Do Or Die, (R.I.P. Johnny P) and they did what they do.
