King Charles, Prince William, Royals and Military escorted by police to VE Day 80 event

King Charles and other members of the royal family arrive at Buckingham Palace by motorcade to participate in Victory in Europe 80th Anniversary celebrations. Security was heavy as police escorted both the royal family, and mounted units of the British Army. Veterans were also chauffeured to the event where they watched the procession, viewed the flypast and had afternoon tea with The King. The motorcades of King Charles, Prince William and Princess Catherine, Prince Edward and Princess Sophie, Princess Anne, Prince Edward (Duke of Kent) are featured. Along with the Household Cavalry and King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery. The London Metropolitan Police were responsible for providing all levels of policing and security during the event, including escorting VIPs and managing traffic.
