spin the wheel, roll the slots, its time for some patented mario kart wii thoughts ☆twitch☆   / luckui   ☆discord☆   / discord   I'm sure it's fairly obvious this is heavily inspired by the likes of Scott the Woz and Caddicarus, I really enjoy their content and wanted to try my hand at making something similar. Admittedly I think what I made is a bit too similar to Scott's video on Mario Kart Wii. I hadn't watched it in years but after I finished my script I watched it over and removed things I thought were too one-to-one with what he did, but rewatching mine compared to his I don't think I did quite enough in that respect. Oh well, you live and learn I guess. I figure that'll be the most common (and extremely fair) criticism. I also think I could've had better segways and a more coherent point, I think things jump around a bit abruptly but I'm pretty happy with how it came out overall, I think I have some fairly funny jokes in there. As for why I made this I really wanted to work on my writing skills, especially in a scriptwriting sense. I don't feel I've ever been too great at writing in general so I decided to make this to practice it. I plan to make multiple videos in the same vein as this one to hopefully get better at scriptwriting, coming up with jokes, and performing on screen - its a lot different of a skillset then streaming is (I don't think I'm all that great at streaming either but that's besides the point). Anyway long story short I plan to make more videos like this at least throughout 2026, whether I continue from there who knows.
